The Knowledge Foundation and UNDP launched
"KnowTalks" in Jordan, focusing on AI, cybersecurity,
and CSR to boost knowledge-based development.
The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation and UNDP launched the
"KnowTalks" initiative in Jordan, hosting discussions on AI, cybersecurity, corporate social
responsibility, and business strategy. The first session focused on cybersecurity threats like
social engineering and DDoS attacks, emphasizing public awareness. The second
highlighted CSR efforts in Jordan’s Al-Jizah region, where over 600 people—68% women
—gained skills, with 64% finding jobs and 25% starting small businesses. Subsequent
sessions addressed AI’s impact on identity and strategic leadership, using examples like
Apple’s success and Nokia’s decline. The initiative aims to advance knowledge-based
development through expert dialogue.
