took part, making the event a rich blend of experience and youth energy.

        Purpose of Dubai Youth Lab

The Dubai Youth Lab was held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of The Executive Council. Its main
aim was to activate the role of youth in shaping the future. The event provided a unique platform for young people to
use their skills, creativity, and energy to develop ideas and solutions that can help government initiatives and
strengthen important sectors across the UAE.

The lab was designed as an immersive experience, replicating a real government decision-making environment. It
combined empowerment, innovation, and the analysis of real-world challenges, giving young participants the chance
to experience first-hand how decisions that impact the nation are made.

        Leadership Messages on Youth Empowerment
His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi spoke about the importance of youth in national development. He said,
“Celebrating International Youth Day embodies the leadership’s vision to support and empower youth by creating
environments that turn their energy into tangible achievements. Youth are the foundation of comprehensive
development and true partners in shaping the nation’s future.”
He emphasized that investing in young people is a strategic decision, highlighting that youth play a vital role in
ensuring national security, stability, and progress. He added, “The Dubai Youth Lab brings together creative young
minds with inspiring leaders and decision-makers, offering a dynamic platform to present ideas and craft practical
        solutions to future challenges.”

        Partners of Today and Tomorrow

His Excellency Abdulla Al Basti highlighted the role of Dubai’s leadership in supporting youth. He stated, “Under
the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the
UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince
of Dubai, Dubai has established itself as a global city that empowers youth. This includes building their capabilities,
funding innovative ideas, and placing them in leadership positions.”

He further explained that the Dubai Youth Lab is part of an integrated ecosystem that brings together government
entities, economic sectors, and youth organizations to equip young people with leadership skills and opportunities to
        shape the country’s future.

        Interactive Approach for Real Results

The event followed a hands-on approach. After opening speeches by the leaders, participants were divided into
working groups. Each group received a “vital file” containing a real challenge faced by the government. They
analysed the causes, developed solutions, and then presented their findings to a panel of judges that included experts
        and decision-makers.
