The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) has officially announced
that a public holiday will be observed in all government entities, departments, and
institutions on Friday, September 5, 2025, in honor of the birthday of Prophet Muhammad
(PBUH). This date corresponds to the 13th of Rabi Al Awwal 1447 AH in the Islamic
calendar. The announcement was made through an official circular issued by DGHR,
highlighting the importance of this religious occasion and its observance across the UAE
government sector.
