7/29/25, 9:35 AM Azizi, EHRDC partner to boost Emirati talent in real estate - Abu Dhabi Week
between academic preparation and industry needs by offering job placements, tailored training
programmes, and mentorship from Azizi’s experienced professionals.
The agreement rests on three key pillars: creating employment opportunities within Azizi
Developments, implementing skill-building initiatives for national talent, and fostering knowledge
transfer from real estate experts to Emirati employees.
H.E. Abdulla Ali Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Government Human Resources
Department and Deputy Chairman of EHRDC, said:
“This agreement marks a pivotal moment in our mission to enhance Emirati participation in the real
estate sector—a cornerstone of our national economy. With Azizi as a strategic partner, our young
professionals will benefit from advanced, hands-on training aligned with global standards.”
The collaboration aligns with the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the UAE Centennial 2071 vision,
both of which prioritize sustainable growth and the development of a competitive, knowledge-driven
economy. It also reflects the wider push to encourage meaningful Emirati participation in the private
sector beyond traditional roles.
Mr. Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, expressed his support:
“At Azizi, we view empowering Emirati talent not only as a business priority but also as a social
responsibility. By nurturing local professionals, we are investing in the future of the UAE.”
To celebrate this partnership, Azizi Developments hosted a recognition event on July 23 at the Conrad
Hotel in Dubai. The ceremony honoured Emirati employees contributing to the company’s success,
with three standout performers receiving the “Emirati Hero” award.
Abdulaziz Al Falahi, Emiratization Recruitment Superintendent at EHRDC, said the agreement
represents a broader commitment to creating attractive workplaces for UAE nationals in key industries.
“Through these targeted collaborations, we are preparing Emiratis to thrive in the evolving real estate
landscape and beyond.”
The partnership is one of several initiatives under EHRDC’s strategy to integrate national talent into the
private sector through practical training, strategic hiring, and continuous development. Both parties
have committed to expanding these efforts through additional programmes in the months ahead.
