The Dubai Central Laboratory has developed an innovative examination and screening system which can
detect pork byproducts by using high concentrations of DNA extracted from food products.

Dubai: Byproducts of pork in processed meat products can now be easily detected in
Dubai, thanks to new technology at Dubai Central Laboratory, affiliated with Dubai
Municipality.
The lab has developed an innovative examination and screening system which can
detect the pork byproducts by using high concentrations of DNA extracted from food
