CABSAT Marks 30 Years With 3rd MENA Co-

CABSAT, the premier event for the broadcast, media, satellite, and entertainment sectors in the
Middle East and North Africa (MENA), marks its 30th anniversary with a continued collaboration
with HConsult to host the MENA Co-Production Salon. This exclusive event is set to take place from
21st to 23rd May 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, aiming to foster collaboration within the
industry. The Co-Production Salon, nestled in a VIP lounge close to the Content Congress area, is
an invitation-only event that brings together elite production houses, OTT platforms, TV networks,
content investors, and brand representatives from the region.

Last year's edition of the Co-Production Salon saw over 250 companies vying for entry, but due to
strict participation criteria, only a fraction gained admission. Those who attended engaged in an
average of 15 high-quality meetings each, leading to numerous collaborative investment deals in
content production. Heba Korayem, a specialist at Hconsult and host of the MENA Co-Production
Salon, highlighted the significant outcomes of these meetings. According to Korayem, partnerships
formed at the salon have generated US$ 8 million in content investment, with several more deals
currently in progress.
