        Strong Participation from Young Innovators
The Future Entrepreneur Programme attracted applications from over 1,000 young people, reflecting the strong
interest of Abu Dhabi’s youth in entrepreneurship. Out of these applications, 948 participants were invited to attend a
training programme focused on financial literacy and the basics of entrepreneurship.

The training included lessons on money management, understanding business concepts, and how to think creatively
to solve problems. It was designed to give the youth the foundational skills needed to develop their own business
ideas. After completing the training, the participants took part in interactive workshops, where they could discuss
and refine their ideas. These workshops helped identify the most promising business concepts and prepared
participants for the next stage of the programme.

From the initial training, 134 participants were selected to join the final three-day bootcamp, where they had the
opportunity to further develop their business ideas and turn them into actionable projects.

        Business Development Across Key Sectors

During the bootcamp, participants worked on business projects across three main pathways:
Food and Beverage: 25 projects involving 70 students

Goods and Merchandise: 16 projects involving 33 students

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics): 13 projects involving 30 students

In total, there were 54 projects that advanced to the marketplace stage, where participants gained real-world
experience by selling their products and services to over 350 attendees. This marketplace allowed the youth to
interact with customers, manage sales, and understand the challenges of running a business.

At the end of the programme, the participants presented their projects in a showcase before a judging panel, which
evaluated each project based on creativity, problem-solving ability, and commercial potential. This process gave the
youth practical insights into what makes a business successful.

Vision and Support from Khalifa Fund

Her Excellency Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, CEO of Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, commented on the
programme’s success: “The Future Entrepreneur programme is a key pillar in supporting Abu Dhabi’s vision to
promote entrepreneurship among young people. Our goal is to establish a culture of innovation among youth and
equip them to start ventures that support the diversification and sustainability of the national economy. The
programme’s results demonstrate the strong enthusiasm of the younger generation to turn their ideas into impactful
projects, and also affirm the success of our approach, which combines theoretical knowledge and practical
        application.”

Her statement highlighted how the programme aligns with Abu Dhabi’s long-term goals of encouraging youth
participation in the economy and building a strong culture of innovation.
        Training Camp and Practical Learning

The programme was conducted at Nabdh Al Falah Community Hub in Al Falah City, offering participants the
opportunity to register and choose their preferred pathway under either the Inventor or Trader categories.

A comprehensive framework was used to identify the most promising talent among participants. This framework
considered innovation, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Throughout the training, participants received guidance
from experts at every phase of the programme.

One of the main focuses of the bootcamp was practical learning. Participants were given tasks such as running food
kiosks, selling merchandise, and marketing STEM-based products. This allowed them to test their ideas in a
simulated market environment, giving them first-hand experience in handling customers, managing resources, and
        making business decisions.
