The program attracted applications from over 1,000 individuals, with 948 invited to
participate in a training session centered on financial literacy and the fundamentals
of entrepreneurship. Following this stage, participants joined an interactive
workshop aimed at identifying promising business ideas. From this pool, 134 youth
advanced to a final three-day boot camp.
During the bootcamp, participants developed their ideas across three main sectors:
Food and Beverage: 25 projects involving 70 students
Goods and Merchandise: 16 projects involving 33 students
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics): 13 projects involving 30 students
In total, 54 projects were presented in a live marketplace showcase, where
participants gained real-world entrepreneurial experience by selling their products
and services to more than 350 attendees. The showcase concluded with a judging
panel evaluating projects based on creativity and commercial viability.
Her Excellency Mouza Obaid Al Nasri, CEO of KFED, emphasized the program’s role
in shaping Abu Dhabi’s entrepreneurial landscape, and stated that, “The Future
Entrepreneur program is a key pillar in supporting Abu Dhabi’s vision to promote
entrepreneurship among young people. Our goal is to establish a culture of
innovation among youth and equip them to start ventures that support the
diversification and sustainability of the national economy.”
“The program’s results demonstrate the strong enthusiasm of the younger
generation to turn their ideas into impactful projects, and also affirm the success of
our approach, which combines theoretical knowledge and practical application,” Al
Nasri added.
