The conference highlighted partnerships with Dubai University, Umm Al Quwain University, and the
Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG). These collaborations aim to enhance the
Knowledge Square platform by providing diverse resources such as studies, articles, training
programs, and workshops. Notably, training hours will contribute to private sector employees’
professional development credits, further embedding CSR practices within organizational structures.
H.E. Abdullah Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Vice Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of MAJRA, stated, “The launch of the MAJRA Impact Stream marks a significant step in
advancing CSR and ESG principles. This initiative empowers businesses to embrace innovative
solutions while contributing meaningfully to society, the environment, and the economy. By prioritizing
sustainability, we unlock opportunities for positive, long-term impact.”
Sarah Shaw, Director of MAJRA, added, “Our goal with the MAJRA Impact Stream is to enhance
transparency, accountability, and trust in CSR activities across sectors. Through the MAJRA
Community, we aim to create a collaborative space where individuals and organizations share
experiences, knowledge, and innovative ideas to amplify positive change.”
The MAJRA Impact Stream is built around four key principles: Listen, Unify, Magnify, and Certify.
This strategic approach ensures businesses have a unified platform for knowledge sharing, impact
measurement, and inclusivity. The initiative positions MAJRA as a leader in strengthening CSR
frameworks, promoting sustainable development, and reinforcing the UAE’s global standing as a
pioneer in ESG practices.
