Dubai-based. PNC Menon, Founder and Chairman of Sobha Group, who hails from Palakkad,
Kerala has pledged to build 50 homes for Wayanad landslide survivors.
In a letter to Kerala Chief Minister Shri Pinarayi Vijayan, Menon expressed his grief and sorrow
over the tragedy, emphasizing his commitment to support the affected families.
"In this hour of distress, we stand in solidarity with the people of Wayanad. Our pledge to build
50 homes is aimed at providing not only immediate relief but also long-term support to the
affected families," said Menon, offering his deepest condolences for the lives lost and families
displaced by the landslides.
The impact of the landslides has been devastating, with many families losing not only their
homes but also their means of livelihood. The construction of these 50 homes worth Rs 10 crore
in Wayanad will be a lifeline for these families, giving them a place to start over. This initiative is
in addition to Sobha Group’s ongoing effort to build 1,000 homes for underprivileged families in
Palakkad district, Kerala.
