The UAE visa amnesty period will officially end at the end of 2024.

The Federal Authority for Identity Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) extended the initial
two-month UAE visa amnesty period from the start of September until the end of December due to
high demand.

Major General Suhail Saeed Al Khaili, Director General of ICP, said that the extended deadline
embodies the humanitarian and civilised values of the country.

The initial amnesty period, which began on Sunday September 1 proved to be extremely popular.

It provided an opportunity for people in violation of the UAE visa rules to correct their status without
facing any repercussions or fines.

It will no longer be free to charge electric vehicles in the UAE
