Ajman, United Arab Emirates– The Government of Ajman has officially inaugurated
its Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media, a strategic restructuring designed to
consolidate the Emirate’s cultural and visitor economies under a single, forward-looking
administrative entity. Established by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi,
Ruler of Ajman and Member of the Supreme Council, the agency will oversee the
coordinated advancement of the Emirate’s cultural production, heritage promotion, and
tourist promotion, ensuring alignment with thirteen jurisdictions of international excellence.
A Historic Development for Ajman’s Growth

Ajman’s latest move is a key milestone for the emirate as it consolidates two previously
separate departments: the Ajman Department of Tourism Development and the Ajman
Culture and Media Department, into one unified entity. According to the newly issued Law
No. (2) of 2025, this reorganization is designed to streamline governance and improve
operational efficiency. The department will inherit all the responsibilities, rights, and financial
allocations of the former departments, allowing for seamless continuity in operations.
