The Sheikha La fa bint Mohammed Awards for Childhood Crea vity was launched by the Dubai Women’s
Associa on in 1998, under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al
Maktoum the President of the Award. The key objec ves of the award are to promote tolerance,
allegiance, and loyalty to the wise leadership of the UAE. Since its establishment, the award has played an
ac ve role across various fields, especially in advancing children’s intellect and culture by s mula ng and
fostering authen city. Furthermore, the Award drives the efforts towards improving children’s imagina ve
skills, eleva ng the level of childhood crea vity, nurturing resourceful individuals in our society, and
promo ng construc ve compe on across various fields and ac vi es for children in the GCC region. The
award has also been instrumental in eleva ng a posi ve environment that s mulates children’s crea vity
and ensures their ac ve par cipa on in various ini a ves.
