        Revenue  from hotel establishments grew to nearly AED45 billion in 2024. The hotel occupancy rate climbed to 78 percent,
        one of t he highest regionally and globally. The number of hotel guests reached approximately 30.75 million in 2024, a 9.5
        percent increase from 28. 08  million in 2023, meeting about 77 percent of t he national target of 40 million guests
        annua lly.

        aircraft movements (arrivals and departures) increased to over 6.4 million, while t he number of international visitors rose
        from about  15 million in 2014  to over 29 million in 2024.


        UA E airports handled approximately 102.9 million passengers in t he first eight mont hs of 2025, a 5.3 percent growt h
        compared to 97.9 million passengers during t he same period in 2024.


        Bin Touq  also reported t hat tourism investments attracted by t he UAE reached AED28.8 billion in 2023, rising to AED32.2

        billion in 2024,  wi t h projections to hit AED35.2 billion in 2025.


        The Minister confirmed t hat t he UAE's travel and tourism sector achieved robust growt h in H1 2025. Hotel
        establishments hosted more t han 16 million guests, a 5.5 percent growt h compared to t he same period in 2024. As of t he
        end of H1 2025, t he coun try has 1,243 hotel establishments wit h over 216,000 rooms. Sixteen new hotels entered t he UAE
        market in 2024.


        Hotel revenue s increased to over AED26 billion in H1 2025, a 6.3 percent growt h compared to t he same period last year.


        Bin Touq  projected t hat t he num ber of hotel guests in t he country would reach 33 million in 2025. Hotel revenues are
        expected to increase by 7 percent t his year compared to AED45 billion in 2024, wit h UAE airports anticipated to handle
        approximately 160 million passengers due to airport expansions and t he launch of new routes.


        The minister fur t her pointed out t hat t he "World's Coolest Winter" campaign, over its five editions, has yielded
        out standing resul ts in terms of hotel revenues in t he country, which amounted to approximately AED6.7 billion. The
        campaign also recorded a significant 90 percent growt h in hotel revenues, wit h revenues in t he first edition reaching
        AED1 billion and AED1.9 billion in t he fift h edition.



        He emphasised t hat t he campaign has succeeded over t he past years in reaching more t han 1.2 billion people around t he
        world, highlighting t he UA E's landmarks and diverse destinations in a distinctive manner and introducing viewers in t he
        region and t he world to t he country's tourism and natural treasures.


        The UA E is preparing to host t he UAE Africa Tourism Investment Summit on 27t h October 2025, in Dubai, as part of t he
        Fut ur e Hospitality Sum mit. The event will bring toget her tourism ministers and senior officials from 53 African nations,
        un derscoring t he UA E's role as a trusted partner in tourism investment.
