       value national lead er ship places on read ing. He explained read ing as a gate way to
       know ledge and cre ativ ity, under scor ing its vital role in empower ing indi vidu als

       with know ledge and fos ter ing a con scious and edu cated gen er a tion that is cap -

       able of driv ing the nation’s prosper ity and pro gress.
       Fur ther more, the Know ledge Lounge organ ised a ses sion titled ‘E ect ive Lead -

       er ship’ with Dr. Abir Al Rasbi and a spe cial ised work shop entitled ‘Writ ing Book
       Reviews’ which was con duc ted using visual com mu nic a tion tech no logy. The

       work shop was presen ted by poet and media per son al ity Hus sein Dar wish. Dur ing

       the ses sion, he dis cussed the ways to encour age read er ship and cre ate an enga -
       ging envir on ment for the exchange of ideas, views and know ledge. The work -

       shop delved into the art and sci enti c prin ciples of present ing books to o er the
       Arabic Lib rary and read ers a com pre hens ive and clear under stand ing of the pub -

       lic a tions avail able. For instance, the books are cat egor ised into lit er at ure, sci -

       ence, tra c, or admin is tra tion, while also men tion ing the name of the pub lish -
       ing house and clearly de n ing the con tent of the book artist ic ally and object -

       ively. The work shop ensured an unbiased present a tion by redu cing the in u ence

       of the author’s per spect ive or opin ion.
       The Know ledge Lounge also act ively par ti cip ated in the Lon don Inter na tional

       Book Fair 2024, high light ing the crit ical role of read ing in fos ter ing know ledge
       soci et ies. It organ ised a series of know ledge and edu ca tional ses sions dur ing the

       book fair, cov er ing a wide range of top ics addressed by prom in ent per son al it ies
       and pub lish ing houses in the world of know ledge. The ses sions included diverse

       themes includ ing ‘UAE Pub lisher and Copy right Rights’ which had the par ti cip a -

       tion of Anoud Ali and Hus sein Dar wish, ‘Com plete Know ledge of Art and Lit er at -
       ure’ fea tur ing Fea’ Nas ser and Haytham Hus sein, ‘Global Know ledge Dia logues

       and Arab Lib rary Devel op ment’ with the par ti cip a tion of Hisham Al Jadali and

       Fahad Al Awda, and ‘Inter changes of Trans la tion: Between Trans lator and Pub -
       lisher’ with Fatima al-khatib and Dalal Nas ral lah. These ses sions, among oth ers,

       cap tiv ated the audi ence’s interest and sub stan tially con trib uted to enrich ing the
       know ledge land scape.

       Addi tion ally, it con duc ted inter act ive and enga ging ses sions, such as dis cus sions

       on Adil Mustafa’s book titled ‘Logical Fal la cies’, and Emily Rute’s book ‘Mem oir
       of an Arab Prin cess’. Fur ther more, it con duc ted a ses sion on Aisha Abd al-rah -

       man Bint al-shati’s book ‘Women of the House of Proph ecy’ and Emir ati writers
       Nadia al-naj jar and Noura al-khoury’s book ‘Leters in a Di  er ent Time’ in a
