building a strong and sustainable national economy.”

Al Marri also underscored that the roadmap is a key step towards raising

awareness on the significance of adopting green technology and innovation to

provide superior services and products that serve the community, as well as

elevating the UAE’s attractiveness to green and sustainable innovations.

These efforts will strengthen the UAE’s position as a global leader in innovation,

in line with the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision.

“The new roadmap for Green IP is particularly

important as it coincides with the launch of this

year’s Innovation Month. We will collaborate

with local environmental stakeholders in the

As part of this, the Ministry of Economy carried out a media briefing at its Dubai

headquarters to spotlight the goals of the new Green IP roadmap as well as its

key role in supporting national efforts to fosters innovations in the UAE’s

sustainable economy sectors.
