the Eid Al-Adha holiday from Arafat Day, June 5, until June 8, 2025. Work
for government sector employees will resume on Monday, June 9.
At the same time, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation
(MoHRE) also confirmed paid Eid Al-Adha holidays for private sector
employees from Thursday, June 5, to Sunday, June 8, 2025. This follows the
Cabinet’s approval of public holidays across the country. As a result,
employees in both the private and public sectors will enjoy a four-day
holiday.
The Dubai Government Human Resources Department (DGHR) issued a
circular announcing the Eid Al Adha holidays for the year 1446 Hijri. All
government entities, departments, and institutions across Dubai will
observe a public holiday from Arafat Day, 9th Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH until
12th Dhul Hijjah 1446 AH.
