With AI and digital media transforming the creative industry, the Ministry of Culture is empowering Emirati talent in the
sector through employment and training under its Creative Path Programme.

The recently launched initiative is designed to connect Emirati creatives with job opportunities that align with their

skills and expertise. By establishing direct communication channels between local talent and private sector

institutions, it seeks to streamline the employment process and foster collaborations in the industry.

The initiative also aims to develop creatives’ skills through training courses and qualification programmes. They are

encouraged to take part in international projects and exhibitions to boost their presence on the global stage.

Sustainability and long-term impact are central to the initiative’s mission, said Asma Al Hammadi, Acting Assistant

Undersecretary for the Creatives Development Sector at the Ministry of Culture.

“The Creative Path Programme ensures sustainability through practical vocational training [opportunities that are]

linked to the labour market. This way, participants can be prepared for actual jobs,” Al Hammadi told Aletihad.

It is also integrated with the Nafis platform, which provides financial support and incentives to support job stability.

Through the Creative Path Programme, the ministry aims to translate training into tangible employment opportunities,

when possible, while fostering entrepreneurship through skills development.

Recognising the impact of technological disruption, Al Hammadi said the initiative was designed to address the

         evolving needs of the industry.

“The Creative Path Programme recognises that many creative sectors are experiencing rapid changes due to digital

transformation and modern technologies, such as artificial intelligence, electronic games, and interactive digital
         media,” she said.
