With input from the private sector, the programme uses a flexible model to upskill participants and link them to
national arts and heritage initiatives.
Aiming to boost Emirati creatives’ presence on the global stage, the path also covers strengthening cooperation with
cultural institutions and artistic initiatives around the world.
“The Creative Path Programme seeks to activate these partnerships to ensure the transfer of global expertise to
Emirati talents, enabling them to compete in advanced creative markets, without compromising the uniqueness of the
local cultural identity,” Al Hammadi said.
The international cooperation framework has three pillars: aligning with the UAE’s cultural vision, leveraging expertise
for the local sector, and ensuring Emirati creatives are active partners, she added.
Diversity and inclusivity are also priorities for the team.
“The programme places the principle of equal opportunities and inclusiveness at the core of its strategy… It also
strives to achieve gender balance by periodically monitoring indicators related to women’s participation in training and
employment,” Al Hammadi said.
An inclusive training and work environment is being shaped for people of determination. Collaboration with
specialised entities ensures the provision of necessary technical and logistical facilities, while content development is
being tailored to their needs without compromising the quality of the experience, Al Hammadi said.
