        In response to her nomination, Sheikha Nasser Al Nowais stated:


        "My nomination by the UAE to run for this position is reflective of the importance our country places on
        empowering Emirati women in leadership roles. It emphasizes the UAE’s efforts in promoting joint
        action to enhance the growth and sustainability of the global tourism sector."


        If successful, she will spearhead global tourism policies, drive sustainable tourism initiatives, and

        strengthen international collaboration in the industry.


        Who Is Sheikha Nasser Al Nowais?


        Sheikha Nasser Al Nowais has an extensive background in hospitality, tourism, and business
        leadership, holding several key positions, including:


        Corporate Vice President – Owners’ Relationship Management at Rotana Hotel Management

        Corporation PJSC


        First female board member of the Dubai Hotel Group under the Dubai Chamber of Commerce


        Member of the Global Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) MEA Chapter


        Chair of the Abu Dhabi Chamber’s Tourism Working Group


        Board of Trustees member of the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Les Roches


        Member of the Hospitality Advisory Committee


        Sheikha Nasser earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Major in
        Finance from Zayed University in 2006.
