A highlight of the forum was a captivating presentation by His Excellency Dr.
Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi, who shared his inspiring “Success Story of the Emirati
Astronaut.”
He recounted his historic six-month mission in space, a landmark achievement that has further
solidified the UAE’s reputation in the field of space exploration as the longest Arab mission to
date.
Dr. Al Neyadi emphasised the vision of the UAE’s leadership in promoting the country’s space
program, underscoring their belief in the capabilities and intellect of Emirati talent. He reiterated
the leadership’s commitment to harnessing all available resources and support to cultivate
knowledge and scientific expertise that represent the nation effectively.
In a session titled ‘Talent Management in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,’ Abdulaziz Khalid
AlJaziri provided valuable insights into the future of talent management. He discussed how to
leverage AI technology for creating high-quality programs and projects, stressing the
importance of enhancing the capacities of human resources and empowering talented
individuals to adeptly navigate the changes brought about by the present and future.
During a session on ‘The Future of Talent Management: Preparing for a Digitally
Powered Workforce,’ Mr. Awadh AlMur shared insights on the necessary
preparation of employees for the competitive labour market, underscoring the
significance of digital knowledge.
He highlighted the necessity of fostering a flexible workforce capable of adapting to rapid
technological and digital advancements, along with identifying and cultivating talent and
intellectual capacities.
A panel discussion titled ‘The Future of Human Resources and Talent Management’ featured
experts, including Dr. Ebrahim Al Khajeh, the Division Director of Human Resources at Abu Dhabi
Customs; Ms. Diala Jarar, Director of the Government Sector at LinkedIn; Ms. Widad Buhannad,
Director of Human Resources at the Public Prosecution; and Mr. Laith Najjar, Director of
Transformational Projects in Human Resources Department at Oracle. They discussed future
prospects in human resource management, key industry practices, and the evolving landscape
of talent management.
The forum stands as a testament to DGHR’s unwavering commitment to enhancing human
resources and developing workforce capabilities. DGHR’s primary goal is to cultivate specialised
skills that drive advancements in the era of AI, essential for maintaining competitiveness and
adapting to ongoing global changes.
