These certifications were received in various critical sectors, including
environmental management, energy management, institutional

governance, IT governance, internal auditing, engineering contract
management, and innovation, reflecting the municipality’s commitment to

aligning with international (ISO) and British standards.

HE Dawoud Al Hajri, Director General of Dubai Municipality, emphasized
that these certifications underscore the municipality’s robust vision and

objectives in promoting compliance and governance. “The Municipality

embraces an institutional approach based on leadership, innovation,
governance, sustainability, and optimal resource investment,” Al Hajri

stated. This approach has significantly contributed to numerous
international achievements, enhancing Dubai’s appeal, sustainability,

leadership, and living standards.
