internal audit management system aligned with international standards.

Additionally, the ISO 37000 certification acknowledges the municipality’s

effective governance framework.

The ISO 14001 certification for environmental management systems (EMS)

and the ISO 50001 certification for energy management highlight Dubai
Municipality’s commitment to sustainability and efficient resource use.

The ISO 56002 certification for innovation management and the ISO 38500

certification for IT governance further validate the municipality’s efforts in
corporate excellence and digital transformation.

Renewed Specifications
In 2023, Dubai Municipality successfully renewed 27 international

certifications, bringing the Municipality’s total number of international

certifications to 34. These certifications, awarded by globally accredited
auditing firms, cover many domains, reflecting the municipality’s adherence
to global best practices.
