Hatta’s newly developed mountain trails are a major draw for hiking enthusiasts.
These well-maintained paths allow visitors to immerse themselves in the stunning
mountainous terrain, offering an opportunity to connect with nature while enjoying
challenging and scenic routes.
Another standout attraction is the ‘Bee Garden,’ the first of its kind in the Middle East.
Famous for producing high-quality honey, the garden spans 16,000 square meters and
features thousands of beehives nestled in the mountainous region surrounded by farms.
It’s an educational and immersive experience for visitors interested in the delicate art of
beekeeping and honey production.
The Hatta Resorts and Hatta Wadi Hub have strengthened Hatta’s reputation as a premier
eco-tourism destination.
Offering a variety of outdoor experiences, these resorts feature mountain hiking and biking
trails totalling 32.6 km, with five different paths catering to various levels of fitness and
expertise.
Visitors can explore the mountains either by bike, with rentals available at Hatta Wadi
Hub’s Hubbers bike shop, or on foot, experiencing the awe-inspiring natural surroundings
up close.
Hatta continues to develop a range of tourism projects to further enhance its appeal.
Plans include the renovation of Hatta Heritage Village and Falaj Hatta, the development
of Wadi Leem Lake and Suhaila Lake, the creation of dedicated bike and hiking trails, and
improvements to roadways and parking facilities.
Additionally, sustainable transport solutions like public transit options, bike-sharing
systems, and mountain tram systems are being introduced to further position Hatta as a
leading eco-tourism destination.
Hatta’s blend of environmental conservation, adventure tourism, and cultural heritage
makes it a unique destination for those seeking an authentic and sustainable travel
experience in the UAE.
