His Excellency Abdullah bin Touq Al -Marri stressed that the Emirates Tourism Council continues its vital
role in developing the hospitality sector, relying on international best practices, and supporting the

achievement of the “National Tourism Strategy 2031”, by launching more initiatives and tourism
projects that enhance the UAE’s position as a global tourist destination Pioneer at the regional and
international levels.

The meeting witnessed the discussion of a group of innovative tourism initiatives that the UAE can
provide during its participation as a guest in the work of the G20 for the year 2025, which will be held

in South Africa.

These initiatives focus on enhancing tourism sustainability, reducing carbon emissions, and localizing

advanced technology in various sectors and tourism activities.
