The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) introduced the

‘Training and Exercise System’ as part of the ‘Crisis Management Platform’ during its
participation in the GITEX 2024 exhibition. The move aims to improve preparedness and

response by providing specialised training programs and simulating joint exercises for
emergency, crisis, and disaster management operations.

The system is divided into two major components – the ‘Specialised Training Platform’, and
‘Exercise and Evaluation Platform’. The system aims to enhance emergency, crisis, and disaster

management by offering specialised training programs that help to develop and build capacity
for crisis resilience. It also seeks to improve collaboration among different stakeholders in

order to ensure timely and effective response in the event of an emergency, as well as to
strengthen the crisis management capabilities of government and private organisations in the

Emirate of Abu Dhabi. This is accomplished through an automated system that makes it easier
to organise training courses and workshops, as well as to design, implement, evaluate, and

monitor improvements to raise stakeholder preparedness.
