Event Details and Timings
The Big Bad Wolf Book Fair in Ajman will run for 11 days, starting from September 25 and continuing until
October 5, 2025. The exhibition will be open daily from 10 am to 9 pm, ensuring plenty of time for families,
students, and book enthusiasts to explore the wide range of titles on offer.
The entry to the exhibition is completely free, allowing everyone to enjoy this literary event without any cost.

This exhibition is organized in cooperation with the Government of Ajman and receives support from several key

The official announcement for the fair was made during a press conference held at the Ajman Youth Center, attended
by representatives from the Ajman government, the Tourism Development Department, and a number of publishers.

Mahmoud Khalil Al Hashemi, the Director General of the Tourism Development Department in Ajman, highlighted
the importance of hosting this exhibition. He emphasized that this initiative reflects the emirate’s commitment to

mission, ensuring that residents and visitors have access to valuable learning resources.
Andrew Yap, the founder of the Big Bad Wolf Book Fair, shared his vision for the initiative. He said that the main
goal is to make reading accessible to everyone worldwide, stressing that books are not a luxury, but a right for every
individual.

The Big Bad Wolf Book Fair began in 2009 with the aim of making books available to as many people as possible.
Over the years, it has grown tremendously and now visits more than 50 cities across 17 countries. Its mission is to
promote literacy and spread the culture of reading in communities everywhere it goes.
