Barid Al-Maghrib and Saudi Post have signed two major
agreements to strengthen their postal exchanges and
support the growth of e-commerce. The signing took
place during the 28th Universal Postal Congress (UPU),
held in Dubai from September 8 to 19 under the theme
«Leading Change, Creating the Future», with the
participation of more than 2,000 delegates from 192
UPU member countries.

The first agreement is a cooperation protocol aimed at
enhancing collaboration between the two institutions in
order to address new challenges in the postal sector,
particularly through the exchange of innovative services
and products, according to a statement from Barid Al-
Maghrib.

The second agreement concerns the exchange of postal
items through Saudi Post’s extraterritorial exchange
offices—a strategic mechanism designed to optimize the

processing of e-commerce shipments and streamline
logistics between the two countries.
