Dubai - Barid Al-Maghrib and Saudi Post have signed two major
agreements aimed at enhancing their cooperation in the postal
sector and supporting the growth of e-commerce.

The agreements were finalized during the 28th Universal Postal Congress
(UPU), held in Dubai on September 8-19, with over 2,000 delegates from
192 member countries in attendance.

The first agreement establishes a cooperation protocol to strengthen

collaboration between the two institutions, addressing emerging challenges
in the postal sector and promoting the exchange of innovative services and
products, according to a press release from Barid Al-Maghrib.

The second one focuses on the exchange of postal shipments through

Saudi Post’s extraterritorial exchange offices, a strategic mechanism
designed to optimize e-commerce-related shipments and streamline
logistics between the two countries.
