Ajman Department of Tourism Development launches a roadshow in Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic to expand
tourism cooperation.
AJMAN, UAE – The Ajman Department of Tourism Development (ADTD) has launched a roadshow across key Eastern European markets to
promote Ajman as a distinctive global tourism destination. Led by H.E. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of ADTD, the initiative runs from
26 to 31 October 2025, with events in Warsaw, Budapest, and Prague.
The roadshow aims to engage with major tourism stakeholders, travel agencies, and market representatives to explore new collaboration opportunities,
enhance international partnerships, and highlight Ajman’s tourism and investment offerings.
According to H.E. Alhashmi, the initiative reflects ADTD’s strategy to strengthen Ajman’s presence in high-potential markets. “This tour marks a pivotal
milestone in our journey to broaden our network of international partners and open new avenues of collaboration with emerging European markets,” he
said. “We are committed to positioning Ajman as a leading tourism destination that blends authentic Emirati heritage with modern sophistication.”
He added that the Department’s broader objective is to diversify source markets and enhance Ajman’s appeal as a hub for premium hospitality and
sustainable tourism investment. “We are confident this tour will forge strategic partnerships that contribute to sustainable tourism development and
reinforce Ajman’s role within the national tourism landscape,” Alhashmi stated.

Eastern European travelers have shown increasing interest in destinations across the UAE, attracted by their diverse cultural and entertainment
offerings. The Ajman roadshow is expected to strengthen awareness of the emirate as a destination combining tradition and modernity, while supporting
the growth of hotel occupancy and overnight stays.
In addition to promoting Ajman, the tour will also facilitate knowledge exchange on tourism marketing and promotion between the participating
countries. It aligns with ADTD’s commitment to sustainable tourism development and its vision to increase the tourism sector’s contribution to the
national economy.
