               During meetings held alongside the UAE delegation's participation in the 2025 WIPO Assemblies,

               H.E. Abdullah bin Touq emphasised that – guided by its leadership's vision of global engagement
               and strengthened international cooperation – the UAE continues to enhance its partnerships in

               intellectual property protection and legislative development. These efforts reinforce the UAE's role

               in empowering innovators and solidifying its position as a global hub for the new economy.

               H.E. Abdullah  bin Touq  Al Marri,  said:  "Today's meetings  with ministers,  officials, and
               international IP authorities  mark a  significant  step in  broadening cooperation and knowledge

               exchange.  This  collaboration enhances  services  for rights  holders and innovators  while
               strengthening the adaptability and effectiveness of our IP systems - all aligned with sustainable

               economic development goals."



               The meetings focused on qualifying personnel, exchanging expertise, and enhancing

               intellectual property protection legislation

               During a high-level bilateral discussion, H.E. Bin Touq met with H.E. Lisa Li Pakosta, Estonia's

               Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs, to explore collaborative opportunities in intellectual

               property digitization. The talks focused on modernizing IP systems and services through cutting-

               edge technologies for rights registration and examination, while fostering knowledge exchange to
               develop innovation-driven digital policies. H.E. Bin Touq particularly stressed the strategic

               importance of this bilateral cooperation in advancing both nations' innovation ecosystems


               During his meeting with H.E. Luke Goh, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Law  in Singapore,

               H.E. Bin Touq explored collaborative strategies to strengthen intellectual property frameworks
               through progressive legislation and regulatory reforms. The discussion focused on streamlining

               procedures, fostering a  more conducive business environment, and maximizing the value of

               intellectual assets to empower entrepreneurs and drive start-up growth.
