11/11/25, 8:31 AM ECI Boosts UAE-China Trade Through Insurance and Innovation
During the China-UAE Economic & Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, ECI CEO Raja Al Mazrouei
contributed to the panel on ‘Logistics, Trade, and Advanced Manufacturing.’ He underscored the UAE’s role as a
strategic global trade gateway and detailed how ECI connects SMEs to a network of over 400 million companies,
helping them identify buyers, suppliers, and cross-border partnerships.
Raja highlighted that evolving trade insurance and export credit practices are paving the way for deeper UAE-
China cooperation, especially in co-manufacturing and industrial ventures. “Supporting SMEs is central to
economic diversification and resilience. Initiatives such as Xport Xponential have already mobilised AED 174
million in funding, strengthening domestic value chains and attracting foreign investment,” he noted.
The AIM China Chapter panel, themed ‘Capital Flow in a New Multipolar World,’ further explored global capital
dynamics and industrial innovation. ECI’s participation demonstrated its commitment to empowering UAE
enterprises, enhancing supply chain resilience, and advancing sustainable trade in alignment with the UAE 2031
vision, which aims to increase non-oil exports to AED 800 billion.
Through its engagement in China, ECI reinforced its position as a catalyst for growth, helping UAE businesses
navigate international markets confidently while deepening the economic partnership between the UAE and
China.
