Abu Dhabi – This week, Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI) made a notable impact in China,
interacting with business leaders and policymakers during the UAE Trade Mission led by
H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The delegation took part in
significant events, including the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), the China-UAE
Economic & Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, and the AIM China Chapter 2025,
underscoring the expanding economic and strategic ties between the two countries.

ECI attracted attention at CIIE with its wide-ranging trade credit insurance offerings,
providing insights into risk management services, market intelligence, and financial tools
aimed at aiding UAE exporters in international markets. Visitors to the ECI booth discovered
how these solutions support secure global trade and open up new business avenues.

At the China-UAE Economic & Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, ECI CEO Raja Al
Mazrouei participated in the panel discussing '‘Logistics, Trade, and Advanced
Manufacturing.’ He emphasized the UAE’s vital role as a global trade hub, detailing how ECI
helps SMEs connect to a network of over 400 million companies, facilitating access to
buyers, suppliers, and cross-border partnerships.
