China economic partnership

Etihad Credit Insurance (ECI), the UAE’s federal export credit company, engaged
with key stakeholders and participated in strategic discussions during its visit to
China as part of a high-level UAE Trade Mission led by Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed
bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development
and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs.

The UAE delegation attended major events including the 8th China International
Import Expo (CIIE), the China–UAE Economic & Trade Cooperation Promotion
Conference, and AIM China Chapter 2025, underscoring the deepening economic
ties between both nations.

At CIIE, ECI showcased its trade credit insurance solutions, market intelligence
tools, and risk-mitigation services, offering insights into how it enables UAE exporters
to trade securely and competitively.

During the China–UAE Economic & Trade Cooperation Promotion Conference, ECI
Chief Executive Officer Raja Al Mazrouei joined a panel on “Logistics, Trade, and
Advanced Manufacturing,” where she highlighted the UAE’s position as a global
trade hub and ECI’s role as a growth enabler. She noted that ECI connects small and
