In an energetic discussion on the growing presence and influence of women in sports, Dania Akeel,
Motorsport Athlete, and Jana Mohammad, Assistant Coach of Al Qadisiyah Women’s Soccer
Team, shared inspiring stories of perseverance, progress, and purpose. Akeel described her journey
from weekend superbike races in the GCC to representing Saudi Arabia in the Dakar Rally, the
toughest endurance rally in the world. Meanwhile, Mohammad shared her journey from player to
coach, recounting how injuries initially forced her off the field but her passion for football kept her
close to the sport.
Closing the day on a reflective and inspiring note, Walid Aboulnaga, Founder of NAFAS Journeys,
led the final spotlight session with a thought-provoking talk on purpose-driven leadership and the
rise of feminine energy in shaping a more balanced future. He urged women to continue leading
with heart and to uplift one another, noting that “when one woman rises in power, the whole tribe
rises.”
