7X, the UAE’s trade, transport, and logistics holding group, has signed a Memorandum of
Understanding with Emarat EV Charging Stations Company PJSC (UAEV) to accelerate the
development of electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the Emirates.
The agreement was formalized during GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai.
The partnership establishes a framework for planning, deploying, and promoting EV charging
stations nationwide, advancing the UAE’s transition toward sustainable mobility. It aligns with
the country’s long-term goals under the ‘We the UAE 2031’ vision and the Net Zero by 2050
Strategic Initiative.
