Describing the GCC as a unique and successful model of regional cooperation, H.E. Bin Meshar noted
that over the years, the council has strengthened solidarity, collective governance, and
sustainable development, while playing a pivotal role in anchoring regional and global stability.

He emphasized that the GCC's enduring success is underpinned by shared values and the

implementation of ambitious economic and social initiatives, supported by an integrated legislative
and regulatory framework designed to enable seamless cooperation across member states.

Commitment To The Founding Vision

Marking this commemorative occasion, the SLC reaffirmed its commitment to the principles and
vision of the GCC’s founding fathers, praising their foresight and dedication to unity and integration.

The committee expressed its ongoing dedication to enhancing legislative cooperation with counterpart
institutions throughout the GCC.

“Today, we take pride in the legacy of unity and integration forged by our visionary leaders. We remain
steadfast in our efforts to bolster legislative collaboration across the Gulf to further our shared goals of
prosperity and progress,” said H.E. Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar Al Muhairi.

The message serves as both a tribute to the past and a reaffirmation of the Supreme Legislation

Committee’s role in advancing regional harmony through effective legal cooperation and support
for joint Gulf initiatives.
