Celebrate World Franchise Day And Promote

The Emirates Franchise Association, linked with the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, hosted a forum titled "Franchise Unites Us and Innovation Leads Us" at the Chamber’s
headquarters. This event marked World Franchise Day on 11th June. Collaborating with the Khalifa
Fund for Enterprise Development and the Abu Dhabi Businesswomen Council, it gathered
entrepreneurs, decision-makers, and representatives from both government and private sectors
interested in franchising.

Franchising is experiencing significant growth globally and locally. In the UAE, annual revenues
have surpassed AED100 billion with a 15% growth rate. Worldwide, revenues exceed AED6 trillion.
The MENA region's market value is over AED120 billion. Globally, more than two million franchisees
provide jobs for over 19 million people, highlighting franchising's economic importance.
