        Ministry Of Economy Launches Summer Hospitality Camp 2025 To

        Empower UAE Youth In Tourism Sector


        In a significant move to boost national capabilities in the hospitality and tourism sector, the UAE Ministry of Economy has launched
        the ‘Summer Hospitality Camp 2025’, under the patronage of H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the
        Emirates Tourism Council. This initiative supports the UAE Tourism Strategy 2031 and aims to empower Emirati students through
        specialized training and real-world industry exposure.

        The camp offers five structured training tracks:

        Hotels

        Culinary

        Hospitality

        Food Services

        Event Management

        Building Future Leaders In Hospitality

        Speaking at the launch event, H.E. Bin Touq highlighted the sector’s role as a major driver of economic growth, sustainability, and
        innovation in the UAE. He stated:

        “The Summer Hospitality Camp is an investment in our young Emiratis, designed to equip them with the skills and training needed to thrive in
        the tourism sector. Through this initiative, we are preparing the next generation of leaders and innovators who will enrich the visitor
        experience in the UAE and serve as true ambassadors of our authentic Emirati identity.”

        The event also featured remarks from H.E. Shaikha Nasser Al Nowais, Secretary-General elect of the UN World Tourism Organization
        (2026–2029), who praised the initiative as a forward-looking model to build human capital and global-standard expertise within the UAE.
