Dubai Aviation Engineering Projects (DAEP) has awarded a contract to Smiths Detection to install
next-generation security screening systems across all terminals at Dubai International Airport
(DXB). This initiative aims to enhance passenger safety and streamline the travel experience at one
of the world’s busiest airports.

Announced during the Airport Show 2025, this multi-year deal will see Smiths Detection deploy its
HI-SCAN 6040 CTiX Model-S scanners in Terminals 1, 2, and 3.
