Dubai Municipality has ramped up its efforts to ensure food safety and public health during the
holy month of Ramadan, conducting extensive monitoring campaigns and inspection visits.
These campaigns target a wide array of sectors including markets, commercial centres, food
establishments, and more, extending their reach to salons, beauty centres, and even labour
cities across Dubai. This initiative is part of the Municipality's dedication to uphold safety, public
health, and food safety standards throughout Ramadan.

Sultan Al Taher, Director of Food Safety Department at Dubai Municipality, highlighted the
commitment to protecting the community from food-related risks. The aim is to achieve top
health and safety standards, contributing to a sustainable food and health system. This year's
Ramadan preparations are focused on ensuring that all food-related establishments adhere to
               the highest food safety protocols.

The Municipality's efforts include strict compliance checks on the entire food preparation
process, from storage to cooking, with a special emphasis on the quality and validity of
materials used. The goal is to provide nutritious, secure, and safe food for all residents in the
Emirate, aligning with the highest food safety standards.

In addition to these measures, Dubai Municipality has adjusted the opening times of several
facilities during Ramadan. Al-Quoz, Al-Lesili, Al-Qusais, and Hatta will operate from 8:00 to
