UAE ranks first in region, 3rd globally in management of outdoor green spaces

The UAE marked a significant milestone in the management of outdoor
greenspaces, ranking third globally and top in the region, by bagging 54
Green Flag Awards. The award recognises well managed parks and green
spaces, setting the benchmark standard for the management of recreational
outdoor spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world, according
to its website.

UAE Leadership in Parks and Green Spaces

The UAE achieved first place in the Arab world and third in the world behind
the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland, where the Emirate of Abu
Dhabi, represented by the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, won 26 awards, ahead
of other municipalities in the country.
