Determining Your Goals
People generally (not everyone) have one of two main goals – fat
loss or muscle gain, but there are other goals to be had.
In case you aren’t sure what your goals are, let’s discuss the most
common. Maybe that will help to put your own goals into context for you.
The most common goals are:
• Lose weight- You’d like to lose at least 10 – 15 pounds (or more)
• Build muscle- You’d like to build muscle and increase your overall
body weight.
• Body recomposition- You want to lose less than 10 to 15 pounds of
body fat, while simultaneously building muscle.
• Athletic performance- You want optimal nutrition to support long
and intense athletic training. (Minimal to no weight change desired.)
• Improve Health- You want to improve your nutrition and overall
health, while maintaining your current weight.

on.
