 CHAPTER 6: ASSOCIATE BENEFITS
Your well-being is a priority that Post takes very seriously as demonstrated by its substantial investments in its associates. For example, Post University recognizes
the importance of offering a competitive, high quality, and affordable benefits package to attract and retain
top talent. The University uses a holistic approach by providing a total compensation package that offers both traditional as well as non-traditional benefits. To help benefits-eligible associates understand the real value
of their benefits including the actual costs of these benefits to the associate and the University, periodically a personalized, detailed Total Compensation Statement is issued by Associate Experience.
Post’s full menu of benefits is often reviewed, analyzed and modified to ensure each benefit offering provides the associate and eligible dependents quality benefits that are competitive, affordable, legally compliant, and continue to be responsive to associates’ changing needs. Based on these strategic reviews and analysis, any Post benefit may change from time to time (at the University’s discretion) and occasional associate cost increases may be required.
Eligibility dates for enrollment in Post sponsored benefits are based on hire date, life status changes,
job reclassification into or exclusion from benefits- eligible status, scheduled annual open enrollment dates, or other applicable regulatory guidelines. Please contact Associate Experience with any eligibility related questions.
As you review the benefits plan information in this section, please keep in mind it is intended to only represent a snapshot description. In other words, the benefit Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and contracts retained by Associate Experience are Post’s official benefit documents, not the information contained in this summary. You may review these official documents at any time by requesting them from Associate Experience. To the extent applicable laws (e.g., local or state law) require greater benefits, those laws will be followed.
The University’s approach is to partner with its insurance brokers to provide a broad selection of exceptional wellness benefits that include health insurances, generous paid time off, tuition reduction discount, income continuation benefits due to extended illness, life insurance, paid holidays, University paid Associate Assistance Counseling sessions, paid bereavement leave, and personal financial hardship assistance. These type benefits help facilitate work life balance and provide peace of mind when associates
or eligible dependents experience certain unfortunate situations or personal needs.
Please be reminded that certain Post benefits may be administered through specialty third party vendors. Associate Experience may be contacted for related details.
You may log into the Payroll System, ADP Workforce Now, to review your current benefit selections.
NOTE: At Post University, a full-time work schedule requires that the associate work 40 hours weekly although eligibility for full benefits coverage begins
at a weekly minimum of 30 hours worked. Associate Experience may be contacted for additional information about any benefits provided by the University.
