CHAPTER 8: EMPLOYMENT PRACTICES AND WORKPLACE EXPECTATIONS
 Disclosure Violations
At Post, working relationships should not foster potential favoritism, preferential treatment, or unfairness. To help avoid the harmful effects of these type relationships, applicants are required to disclose whether any relatives are employed or enrolled at Post to Associate Experience during the hiring process and/or disclose relatives who may become employed or enrolled at Post at a later date. Any violations of the letter or intent of this policy should be reported to Associate Experience for review and ap- propriate resolution.
SMOKE FREE WORK ENVIRONMENT
Maintaining a smoke free work environment is an important part of the University’s focus on students’
and associates’ health, safety, well-being, and respect for the rights of others. Smoking is not permitted in any building, indoor and outdoor athletic facility, indoor and outdoor seating area including and not limited to athletic fields, at open-air presentations or performances, outdoor dining areas, and within University owned or operated transportation. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas outdoors beyond 25 feet of any operable door, window or air ventilation system (applicable in Connecticut). Smoking receptacles that are provided in designated smoking areas should be used to properly discard smoking items and maintain cleanliness.
Please note that use of vape products, electronic cigarettes or other tobacco products is restricted under this policy in the same manner as any other smoking product.
