The program opens with Beethoven’s string trio, a violin-focused work that moves
from a courtly dance to a more upbeat conclusion, transitioning perfectly into
Mendelssohn’s string quartet, filled with the composer’s signature frenetic energy
and delightful melodies.
Goldberg Variations March 10 and 12
In the final Sypert Salon chamber music of the 2023-24 season, Naples
Philharmonic musicians present Paganini and Bach. Concertmaster Zachary DePue
opens with a Paganini Caprice. The program includes Bach’s Chaconne for Solo
Violin arranged for Piano Trio and selections from Goldberg Variations for Brass
Quintet—a tribute to musical brilliance.

Chamber Music Romance Feb. 18
Embark on a musical journey delving into the drama and passion of classical music’s
iconic love triangle—Clara and Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms—featuring
stirring works by these renowned composers and a rediscovered gem by Amanda
Röntgen-Maier, all skillfully performed by Naples Philharmonic musicians with
special guest Orli Shaham.
Ehnes and Spano April 7
Join a musical celebration with Artistic Partner James Ehnes, conductor-pianist
Robert Spano, and Naples Philharmonic musicians in the 2023-24 Wang Chamber
Music series finale, featuring Brazilian-inspired beats, classical chamber favorites,
and a fusion of cultures through Brahms and Dvorák.
