WHY WE WRITE THESE BOOKS:

These books are created as a Father/Daughter projects to teach

valuable life lessons, and raise money for a good cause.
As the Father, I had these 10 goals:

1. Show how to overcome obstacles: When we started, we

knew nothing about writing a book, publishing a book, creating a
website, and didn’t have any natural artistic talent. But our goal

was to write books anyway, and overcome these obstacles.

2. Develop a relationship of trust and respect by working
together: I am hoping that this lesson will carry on long after

the books are complete.

3. Show the power of giving: We would like to share our books
with every child in America, by occasionally off ering the eBook

versions for free to those who can’t aff ord it. My goal is to show
that if you focus on giving fi rst, then good things will happen for

you. That is why we created Tia’s Water Wish, as a way to give
back.

4. Show that it is important to always do your very best, so

that you can be proud of your work: We are proud of our
books. They may not be perfect, but we know we have done the
best we can do.

5. Getting help and advice from others is important:

Getting help from others doesn’t show weakness, but strength of
character. It is a way to bridge the knowledge gaps we all have.
