Distinction, Incorporated. sulted in 159 new or gently used books collected and
additional books were donated with an intent to com-
plete the book drive in March. Books will be donated
to the Occoquan Elementary School and a library in
Ghana.
The chapter culminated the month of February by con-
ducting a Spelling Bee. This exceptional program dis-
played the talents of Top Teens and included celebrato-
ry activities by Praise Dancers, a Psalmist/Recording
Artist, and an Author. The chapter extended apprecia-
tion to Ladies, Lords, and Guests that made the Spelling
Bee a success, as well as participating Teens: Alexis
Clark, Kenneth Clark (3rd Place), Xavier Glaze, Court-
ney Parker, Gabriella Segears (1st Place), Zion Segears,
Adara Singleton, and Caleb Wilson (2nd Place).

and National Focus, serving need within their commu-
nity. One area where the chapter excelled was in TLOD
Literacy.
In February, the chapter TLOD Literacy (Chair, Lady
Delores Bazile), Senior Citizens (Chair, Lady Simone
Howard), and TTA (Chair, Lady April Jackson) commit-
tees joined efforts to plan and conduct a Senior Citizen
Black History Month Program at the Prince William
Adult Day Healthcare facility. The chapter adopted this
facility after it was chartered 8 years ago and continues
to partner with the Prince William Area on Aging to
apply the TLOD “Total” program model in support of
the senior citizen patrons. The chapter also engaged in
