During Lady Chimney’s tenure as 8th national president,
her central focus was on Top Teens of America pro-
gram development. She implemented a one week TTA
Officers Leadership Academy, established the TTA
Black History Bowl, and initiated the Me and My Men-
tor Program and publication. Also, Lady Chimney initi-
ated and supported the approval of the fifth program-
matic thrust, Community Partnership. During her ten-
ure as president, she chartered eight chapters and ap-
proved over 600 TLOD applicants for membership. In
addition, she received trademarks for the names Top
Ladies of Distinction, Inc. and Top Teens of America
as well as the TLOD and TTA symbols. Lady Chimney
initiated the establishment of TLOD National Head-
quarters in Houston, Texas.

served the organization as chapter president. Also, she
is the state convener of the National Council of Negro
