Greetings,

As we move into the Holiday Season, let us count our blessings for all that we
have and for all that we, by the Grace of God, are allowed to give back. We, as an
organization, are known for the exemplary service that our members across these
United States of America provide to the inhabitants in our community. Without
YOU - the membership - TLOD could not implement the many programs that
are so beneficial to all that we serve.

At the recent Parliamen-Top in Atlanta, you showed your continued commitment
to TLOD by, despite the ravages of Hurricane Harvey, coming prepared to talk
about what we can do to make the world better for others. Not only did you talk
the talk, you walked the walk. Because of you, TLOD assisted 12 Hurricane Harvey victims/families by disburs-
ing over $10,000.00 in cash. In addition, clothing, food, furniture, formula, pet food, and other necessities have
been donated by Chapters across the six Areas. Ladies have taken victims into their homes, manned phones, vol-
unteered with clean-up and anything else that would help. TLOD truly proved the spirit of "If I can Help Some-
body." Thanks to all who opened up their hearts, homes and wallets to assist those in need.

Further, you attentively sat in workshops and learned more about Caregiving, UNCF, NOBLE, KAB, etc. all in an
effort to be of better service to your community. I appreciate and thank you. If you did not attend Parliamen-
Top 2017, enclosed in this newsletter is a detailed update. Please plan to attend Parliamen-Top 2018 in Las Vegas,
Nevada at the Sun Coast Casino, September 27 thru September 30, 2018. Registration will open May 1,
2018. Hotel reservation info is on the website and you can make your reservations now. I hope to see you there.

I am proud of all that we are doing in furthering the mission of Top Ladies of Distinction, Inc. There isn't anoth-
er organization in the world that is taking on as many relevant causes as TLOD. Be proud to be a part of the
blessings that are bestowed on others daily through our service to youth and adults. As we trudge along the way,
please continue to be blessed and be a blessing to others as we Invest in V.A.L.U.E.S. that Support, Enhance, and
Sustain, as we serve with Enthusiasm, Energy, and Excitement!
